Born in Zvole, Moravia, graduated from dance conservatory
in Ostrava. Within tce scope of military service worked with
AUS (Military Artistical Ensemble) of Vít Nejedlý, then he
joined Laterna Magika. He succeeded above all as a long-
time impersonator of Jolly Clown in Wonderful Circus, whome
he played more than 2000 times. From other parts it was e.g.
Harlequine in Love in the Carneval Colours, Storyteller in One
Day in Prague, Wisard in Snow Queen, Aiolos in Ulysses etc.
At the same time he performed with Pantomime Na zábradlí
under Ladislav Fialka as a mime and in Prague
Chamber Ballet as a dancer.
As a choreographer, he cooperated vith Theatre of Petr
Bezruč in Ostrava.
After completing his career in the 90s, J.K. started to work
at Laterna as a pedagogue and stage director.
He devotes himself also to choreographical work (Children´s
Opera Prague).
